Son of John Powell 1746 and Mary Staddon
James was baptised on 29 Apr 1804 (1) in Porlock, Somerset. I have not found a marriage for James and the 1861 Census shows he is unmarried, however on the 1871 Census he does describe himself as a widower.
James worked as an Agricultural Labourer. He is buried in Porlock with his parents. The headstone reads.
