Thomas was born about 1754 in Welcombe, Devon. No baptism has been found as the records for this time have not survived. Thomas married Damaris Burrow on 20 October 1781 (1) in Morwenstow, Cornwall.. Witnesses to the marriage were Jos Burrow and Thomas Clift.
Damaris Burrow was baptised on 12 May 1761(2) in Morwenstow. Her parents are Joseph Burrow and Mary.
Little is known about Thomas and Damaris. They had four children.

Thomas and Damaris are both buried in Clovelly. Thomas on 18 June 1823 (3) aged 69, and Damaris on 3 Feb 1836 (3) aged 75.
